Kelly from Syracuse

My dear friend, Kelly Cutrone told me she would be with me in spirit when I had my surgery on June 12, 2007 to remove my gall bladder. Kelly is from Syracuse, New York. Vishnu, who was staying with me for two days before my operation and three days after is also from Syracuse. I thought this most interesting that two disciples who are so close to me are both from a small city in upstate New York.

When I was prepped for my surgery the nurse was very kind, compassionate, and gentle, making me as comfortable as possible. When I was wheeled out of the operating theatre
Vishnu said, “You were not in your body!” As I came out from under the anesthesia I knew that I had returned to my body because I heard myself quoting those great lines from Savitri about the Divine Mother, beginning with “At the head she stands”.

Then the nurse came to help me sit up, and then helped me lie back down again to let the nausea pass. She was so gentle and solicitous that I asked Vishnu if he would ask her name so I might thank her.

When she returned he asked her name and she said, “Kelly”. He then asked where she was from and she said “Syracuse”.
